📢 Bcv is attending par the #EMBC conference “45th annual international conference of the IEEE engineering in medicine and biology society” in Sydney, Australia from July 24 to 27, 2023.
Mounir Lahlouh presents his work entitled: “Automated Aortic Anatomy Analysis: from Image to Clinical Indicators.”
The aim of this work is to use artificial intelligence #AI to help plan interventional procedures #NRI. This approach includes a vascular segmentation step followed by a geometric characterization in order to calculate relevant morphological indicators. These indicators help neuroradiologists to quantify the difficulty of accessing pathological sites.
This is the fruit of a strong collaboration between Bcv, the Université de Reims Champagne-Ardenne (CReSTIC laboratory), the ESME SUDRIA Paris engineering school, the ISIR – Institut des Systèmes Intelligents et de Robotique, the LISSI (université Paris Est Vitry-sur-Seine), The Ottawa Hospital and the Hôpital Fondation Adolphe de Rothschild, Paris.
